I have lived in Puerto Vallarta my entire life, and I LOVE seeing how many people are moving their "offices" to our beautiful beaches!
Our city is a total dream for anyone working remotely.
You get fast internet, incredible food, and a community that is so-so friendly.
If you are a solo traveler or a digital nomad looking for your next home base, you are in the right place!!
As a local family business, we know every corner of this town like the back of our hand.
Finding the best neighborhoods to stay in Puerto Vallarta can be tricky if you don't know the local vibe.
But don't worry, I am going to share my favorite spots for staying productive while enjoying paradise.
The Heart of the Action: Zona Romántica
Most people call this Old Town, and it is the most popular spot for a reason.
It is incredibly walkable and filled with the best energy in the city.
If you like being surrounded by other remote workers, this is the place to be.
You can grab a coffee at El Sofa Cafe or Puerto Cafe and see laptops everywhere!
The WiFi is generally great here, and the social life is AMAZING.
Since we offer Puerto Vallarta condos for rent by owner, we always tell our guests that staying here means you never need a car.
Everything is right at your doorstep.

Local Vibes and Great Views: 5 de Diciembre
If you want a more authentic feel, I highly recommend 5 de Diciembre.
This is where the locals live, and the food is just the best!
It is a bit hillier than Old Town, but the reward is the breathtaking mountain and ocean views.
We love the fruit vendors on the street corners and the smell of fresh tacos everywhere.
It is a bit quieter than the tourist zones, which is perfect if you have a lot of Zoom calls.
Plus, you are still super close to the beach and the Malecón!

Why Local Knowledge Matters
There are so many big websites out there trying to sell you a stay.
But honestly, renting directly from an owner is the only way to go.
We treat our guests like family.
If you need to know which cafe has the strongest signal or where to find a quiet workspace, we are here to help.
At The PVGirl, we make sure your internet is fast and your space is comfortable for a full day of work.
Peace and Quiet: Conchas Chinas
If you are the type of Puerto Vallarta digital nomad who needs absolute silence to focus, look at Conchas Chinas.
It is just south of the main city center.
The views are stunning and the area is very peaceful and upscale.
It is great for couples who want to work during the day and have romantic dinners by the ocean at night.
You might need a quick Uber to get into town for groceries, but the serenity is worth it.

The Foodie Choice: Versalles
Versalles is the new "it" neighborhood for foodies.
It has a massive variety of trendy restaurants and cute cafes that are very laptop-friendly.
The vibe is modern and young, and it is gaining a lot of popularity with the remote work crowd.
It is a bit further from the main beach action, but the food scene makes up for it.
Making the Most of Your Stay
When you rent apartments in puerto vallarta, you want to make sure you have a good balance.
You need a desk, natural light, and a view that reminds you why you left your cubicle!
We focus on providing spaces that feel like a home, not just a rental.
Our condos have everything a solo traveler or a couple needs to be happy and productive.
Check out our Instagram to see some of the views our guests wake up to every day!

My Final Recommendation
Puerto Vallarta is truly a remote work paradise.
If you want to be in the middle of everything, stay in Zona Romántica.
If you want a local experience with amazing views, choose 5 de Diciembre.
Whatever you choose, booking with a local family-run business ensures you get the real experience.
We are so proud to support our community and show you the best of our home.
Puerto Vallarta is calling, and we can't wait to host you!
We highly recommend booking your stay early because the best spots fill up fast!!
