Weekend Wind-Down in Amapas: A Couple’s Perfect Itinerary

When we want to completely unplug and reconnect as a couple, we head straight to Amapas. It is our absolute favorite hillside neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta for a peaceful weekend escape.

Friday: Ease into Vacation Mode

We always kick off our weekend by keeping things wonderfully simple. After dropping our bags, we love stepping out onto the terrace to take in the stunning jungle and ocean views.

If you are staying at Casa CC, you are just a short, scenic walk away from the soft sands of Playa Los Muertos. We love strolling down the shore as the afternoon light softens, followed by a casual taco dinner right in the heart of Zona Romántica.

Saturday: Slow Mornings and Local Flavors

Saturdays in Amapas are all about unhurried routines. We start our morning with strong local coffee and warm chilaquiles at a cozy neighborhood spot.
