Instead of jumping straight into emails this morning, I laced up my sneakers and headed toward one of my favorite places in the whole world: Gringo Gulch.<\/p>\n

I started my walk early, right around 8:00 AM. <\/p>\n
The air is still cool then, and the light hitting the white walls of the old buildings is just… AMAZING!!<\/p>\n
Gringo Gulch is tucked away on the slopes above the Rio Cuale, right in the heart of downtown. <\/p>\n
It is so quiet up there compared to the busy streets of the Malecon. <\/p>\n
I love how the sounds of the city just sort of melt away as you climb higher. <\/p>\n
The cobblestone streets are steep, so it\u2019s a bit of a workout, but it is SOOO worth it. <\/p>\n
