Most travelers head straight to the beach clubs. But if you want to find the real "soul" of our city, you have to spend time in 5 de Diciembre.<\/p>\n

You cannot talk about the soul of PV without talking about Old Town. We also call it Zona Rom\u00e1ntica. <\/p>\n

This is the heartbeat of the city. It is where the old world meets the new. <\/p>\n

The buildings here are low-rise and colorful. No giant skyscrapers to block your view of the mountains! <\/p>\n

For my fellow solo explorers, Old Town is incredibly walkable. You can wander for hours and never get bored. <\/p>\n

If you need a quiet moment, I highly recommend checking out "A Page in the Sun." It is a charming cafe and bookstore. It is a legendary spot for anyone doing Solo in the City<\/a>. <\/p>\n

I have spent many afternoons there with a good book and a strong coffee. It is a great place to meet other travelers or just soak in the cozy atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Digital Nomad Life with a View<\/h3>\n

Are you working while you travel? Puerto Vallarta has become a huge hub for remote workers.<\/p>\n

But here is the secret: don't just work from a dark office. You are in paradise!<\/p>\n

Colomitos is the smallest beach in Mexico and it is tucked away in a tiny cove. It feels like a secret paradise. <\/p>\n

Going early in the morning is BEST. It is cool and quiet. Just you and the sounds of the jungle. It is very grounding.<\/p>\n

Let's talk about the food. AMAZING.<\/p>\n

The taco stands in 5 de Diciembre and Old Town are where the magic happens. Look for the stands with a line of locals: that is how you know it is good.<\/p>\n

Al pastor tacos are a must. The way they carve the meat and flip the pineapple on top? It is a work of art!<\/p>\n
