We have lived in Puerto Vallarta our entire lives. My family and I have seen this city change over the years. But one thing never changes. This is the most romantic place in the world for couples.<\/p>\n

We know all the secret spots. We know where to go when you want to escape the crowds. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with your partner, you are in the right place. We LOVE helping couples find those hidden corners that most tourists miss!<\/p>\n

Puerto Vallarta is so much more than just the main beach. It is about the quiet streets. It is about the hidden coves. It is about the magic you feel when you are exploring together.<\/p>\n

The Magic of Gringo Gulch<\/h3>\n

One of our absolute favorite places is Gringo Gulch. It is tucked away right above the main part of the city. Most people walk past it without even knowing it is there!<\/p>\n

The streets here are made of old cobblestones. The walls are bright white. But the best part is the flowers. There is pink bougainvillea everywhere! It spills over the walls and smells AMAZING.<\/p>\n

It is so quiet here. You can hear the birds. You can hear the wind in the trees. It is the perfect place for a slow afternoon walk. We always tell our guests to head up there for a photo shoot. The light is just perfect.<\/p>\n

Secluded Sands at Conchas Chinas<\/h3>\n

If you want a beach day but hate the crowds, you have to go to Conchas Chinas. We call this area the "Beverly Hills" of Puerto Vallarta. But the beach is the real star.<\/p>\n

It is just a short walk or taxi ride from the main area. The water here is crystal clear. It is a beautiful turquoise color. There are natural rock formations that create tiny, private pools.<\/p>\n

It is very intimate. You won't find loud music or hundreds of vendors here. It is just you, the ocean, and the sun. We highly recommend packing a small picnic and spending the whole afternoon. It is the BEST spot for a quiet sunset.<\/p>\n

\"Conchas<\/p>\n

A Walk Through Isla Cuale<\/h3>\n

Isla Cuale is a literal island in the middle of a river. It sits right between the two main parts of downtown. It is like a jungle oasis in the middle of the city.<\/p>\n

The island is full of tall trees that provide lots of shade. It is much cooler here than on the beach. There are art galleries and small shops. You will also see many local cats lounging in the sun!<\/p>\n

We love walking across the hanging bridges. It feels like an adventure! It is a very peaceful place to spend an hour or two. You can find a quiet bench and just enjoy being together. It is simple, but it is so romantic.<\/p>\n

Vallarta Botanical Gardens<\/h3>\n

This gem is about 30 minutes south of the city. But trust us, it is worth the trip! It is a serene sanctuary.<\/p>\n

There are thousands of types of flowers. The orchid house is BEAUTIFUL. You can walk through the jungle trails and then cool off in the river. It feels like you are a world away from everything.<\/p>\n

It is very quiet and very well-kept. We think it is one of the most romantic things you can do in Puerto Vallarta. The scenery is just breathtaking. You will see colors you didn't even know existed in nature!<\/p>\n

The Sunset at Faro de Matamoros<\/h3>\n

Everyone goes to the Malec\u00f3n for sunset. But if you want a better view with fewer people, go to the Faro de Matamoros. It is an old lighthouse on a hill.<\/p>\n

The climb is a bit steep, but the view from the top is UNBELIEVABLE. You can see the whole bay. You can see the mountains meeting the sea. It is the perfect place to watch the sky turn orange and purple.<\/p>\n

It is a local favorite for a reason. It is quiet. It is beautiful. It is the perfect way to end a romantic day in PV.<\/p>\n
