It is the best way to end your day and start your night. <\/p>\n

We love how the sky turns into a painting of bright oranges, deep pinks, and soft purples. <\/p>\n

Since we run a local family business, we know all the best places where you can get away from the crowds. <\/p>\n

We want you to have those quiet, magical moments together. <\/p>\n

Here are our absolute favorite spots for couples to catch the sunset in Puerto Vallarta.<\/p>\n

1. Los Muertos Pier (The Iconic View)<\/h2>\n

You cannot visit Vallarta without seeing the Los Muertos Pier. <\/p>\n

It is the heart of the Old Town. <\/p>\n

The pier itself looks like a giant sail. <\/p>\n

At night, it lights up with all sorts of colors. <\/p>\n

But just before that, during the "golden hour," it is the most romantic place to be. <\/p>\n

We highly recommend walking to the very end of the pier. <\/p>\n

The breeze feels AMAZING on your skin. <\/p>\n

You can stand there hand-in-hand and watch the sun go down right over the water. <\/p>\n

The way the light hits the low-rise buildings along the shore is just beautiful. <\/p>\n

It feels so authentic and local. <\/p>\n

If you want something a bit more private, you have to go to Conchas Chinas. <\/p>\n

We call this the "hidden gem" of the south side. <\/p>\n

The beach here is very different from the main Los Muertos beach. <\/p>\n

It has these beautiful natural rock formations that create tiny, private tide pools. <\/p>\n

It is sooo quiet and peaceful here. <\/p>\n

There are no big crowds or loud music. <\/p>\n

Just the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. <\/p>\n

We think it is the perfect spot for a romantic picnic. <\/p>\n

You can grab some local snacks and a bottle of wine and just sit on the sand. <\/p>\n

The views of the Sierra Madre mountains meeting the ocean are stunning. <\/p>\n

The Malec\u00f3n is our famous boardwalk. <\/p>\n

It is about a mile long and runs right along the ocean. <\/p>\n

We love walking here in the evening. <\/p>\n

There is so much energy and life. <\/p>\n

You will see local artists, street performers, and people selling fresh fruit. <\/p>\n

But even with all the excitement, it is still very romantic for couples. <\/p>\n

We like to start at one end and just wander slowly. <\/p>\n

You can stop and look at the bronze sculptures along the way. <\/p>\n

As the sun starts to set, the whole walkway glows. <\/p>\n

The best part is that you can see the sunset from almost any point on the Malec\u00f3n. <\/p>\n

It is a great way to experience the local culture while enjoying the natural beauty of the bay. <\/p>\n

4. Amapas Beach (The Local Secret)<\/h2>\n

Just past the Los Muertos Pier is a smaller beach called Amapas. <\/p>\n

It is tucked away behind a small rocky point. <\/p>\n

Because you have to walk over a little hill to get there, it stays much quieter. <\/p>\n

We love this spot for a late afternoon swim followed by the sunset. <\/p>\n

The water is usually very calm here. <\/p>\n

It feels very intimate, like you have your own little piece of the ocean. <\/p>\n

The hillside is covered in lush green jungle, which makes the orange sunset colors pop even more. <\/p>\n

It is such a beautiful part of town. <\/p>\n

You get the best of both worlds: the peace of the hills and the beauty of the beach. <\/p>\n

5. Mirador de la Cruz (The 360 View)<\/h2>\n

For the couples who like a little bit of adventure, you have to hike up to the Mirador de la Cruz. <\/p>\n

It is a bit of a climb, but the view from the top is TOTALLY WORTH IT!! <\/p>\n

You get a 360-degree view of the entire city and the bay. <\/p>\n

You can see the red-tiled roofs of the Old Town and the deep blue of the Pacific. <\/p>\n
