The King of the Quick Fix: Marisma Fish Tacos<\/h2>\n
If you only have thirty minutes between Zoom calls, you HAVE to go to Marisma. <\/p>\n
It is a legendary little stand located just down the hill. <\/p>\n
I usually walk there because the steep hills give me a little workout before I eat!<\/p>\n
Marisma is famous for their fish and shrimp tacos. <\/p>\n
They are crispy, fresh, and served with about ten different types of salsas. <\/p>\n
I always go for the "Taco de Camaron Capeado" (battered shrimp). <\/p>\n
It is SOOO GOOD. <\/p>\n
The service is lightning fast. <\/p>\n
You stand at the counter or grab one of the few stools, eat your heart out, and you are back at your desk in no time. <\/p>\n
It is exactly what I need when I\u2019m staying in our zona romantica puerto vallarta rentals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Sometimes I want a more "on the street" experience. <\/p>\n That is when I head over to Tacos El Moreno. <\/p>\n This place is as local as it gets. <\/p>\n No fancy menus here! <\/p>\n Just great meat, fresh tortillas, and the sound of the city passing by. <\/p>\n It is a perfect spot for couples too. <\/p>\n My partner and I love grabbing a few tacos al pastor here. <\/p>\n We sit on the plastic stools, watch the vendors go by, and enjoy the authentic Puerto Vallarta energy. <\/p>\n It is cheap, it is cheerful, and it is incredibly satisfying. <\/p>\n If you want to feel like a local, this is the place. <\/p>\n Now, if I need to take my laptop with me, I head to Puerto Caf\u00e9. <\/p>\n As part of The PVGirl<\/strong> community, I know how important good Wi-Fi is! <\/p>\n This caf\u00e9 is small but mighty. <\/p>\n The coffee is some of the best I have ever had. <\/p>\n Seriously, they take their beans very seriously here. <\/p>\n For lunch, I usually grab a quick sandwich or a pastry. <\/p>\n It is a great spot to knock out an hour of work while sipping on a cold brew. <\/p>\n The atmosphere is very focused. <\/p>\n You\u2019ll see other digital nomads there too, which makes it feel like a little community hub. <\/p>\n Another great spot for a working lunch is A Page in the Sun. <\/p>\n This place is iconic in the area. <\/p>\n It is a caf\u00e9 and a bookstore all rolled into one. <\/p>\n The vibes are so relaxed. <\/p>\n I love coming here on a Tuesday when I want a slower pace. <\/p>\n They have great salads and wraps that feel healthy and light. <\/p>\n Plus, the Wi-Fi is reliable. <\/p>\n If you are staying at The Nest<\/a>, this is a very easy walk. <\/p>\n I highly recommend their iced tea on a hot day. <\/p>\n It is so refreshing! <\/p>\n If you have a little more time and want a "real" meal, Caf\u00e9 de Olla is the spot. <\/p>\n It isn't a taco stand, but it is very traditional. <\/p>\n They serve incredible Mexican plates. <\/p>\n Think chilaquiles that will change your life! <\/p>\n It is a bit more of a sit-down experience, so it is perfect for a lunch date with your partner. <\/p>\n The decor is very colorful and traditional. <\/p>\n It really makes you feel the heart of Mexico. <\/p>\n I always feel so grateful to live in a place with such rich food culture. <\/p>\n The best thing about staying in Amapas is the variety. <\/p>\n You have the quiet hill with amazing views at Hummingbird<\/a>. <\/p>\n But in just five minutes, you are in the middle of a food explosion. <\/p>\n Whether you want street food or a quiet caf\u00e9, it is all right there. <\/p>\n I love that I don't need a car to find AMAZING food. <\/p>\n Every lunch break feels like a mini vacation. <\/p>\n I can start my day with some mindful mornings<\/a> by the waves. <\/p>\n Then I work for a few hours. <\/p>\n Then it's taco time! <\/p>\n It is the perfect balance for anyone working remotely. <\/p>\n If you are planning to work from PV, here is my advice. <\/p>\n First, get out of the house! <\/p>\n It is so easy to stay inside because the views from our rentals are so good. <\/p>\n But the street life is where the magic happens. <\/p>\n Second, carry a little cash. <\/p>\n Most taco stands don't take cards, and you don't want to miss out on those fish tacos! <\/p>\n Third, try something new every day. <\/p>\n There are so many little holes-in-the-wall that don't even have names on Google Maps. <\/p>\n Just follow your nose (and the crowds). <\/p>\n If you see a lot of locals standing around a cart, you know it\u2019s going to be good. <\/p>\n Lunch in Amapas is never boring. <\/p>\n From the fast-paced energy of Marisma to the quiet corners of Puerto Caf\u00e9, there is something for everyone. <\/p>\n I am so lucky to call this neighborhood home. <\/p>\n If you are thinking about visiting, I can't recommend it enough. <\/p>\n It is the perfect spot for couples and solo travelers who want peace but also want to be close to the action. <\/p>\n If you want more tips on how I spend my time here, check out my post on Solo Sunday<\/a>. <\/p>\n It\u2019s all about those slow PV vibes! <\/p>\n See you at the taco stand!
