I often spend an hour just journaling.
Writing down my thoughts while the city wakes up around me is pure bliss.
It helps me clear the cobwebs from my mind.
The locals are so friendly and always greet me with a warm "Buenos días."
It makes me feel like I belong here, even if I am just passing through.
The Life of a Puerto Vallarta Digital Nomad
I know many of you aren't just here to sit on the beach.
Many of my guests are working while they travel.

I find a spot between the rocks and just listen to the waves.
The water is clear and turquoise.
It is much quieter than the main beaches.
I often bring a book and spend the whole afternoon there.
It is the perfect place for a sunset meditation.
The colors on the water are so vibrant, they almost look fake!
Hiking the Sierra Madre Trails
If your version of zen involves movement, you must hit the trails.
The Sierra Madre mountains offer some of the most beautiful hiking I have ever seen.
I love the trail that leads up to the Mirador de los Arcos.
The climb gets your heart pumping, but the reward is worth it.
You stand at the top and look down at the entire coastline.
It puts everything into perspective.
Being surrounded by all that green makes me feel so small in the best way.
It reminds me that my problems aren't that big.
Nature has a way of doing that.
Just remember to bring plenty of water and your camera!
Safety and Connection
I know some people worry about traveling alone.
But I have always felt incredibly safe here.
The community in Old Town is very tight-knit.
We look out for each other.
