If you need to focus for a few hours, the sofas here are SOOO comfortable. The Wi-Fi is reliable, which is a big deal when you have Zoom calls or deadlines looming. Plus, the walls are covered in local art, giving you that creative spark you might be missing in a traditional office.
If you are looking for a place that feels a bit more "literary," you have to visit A Page in the Sun. It has been around for over 20 years and is a staple of the Old Town community. It’s a bookstore and a cafe combined, and the energy there is just so peaceful. I love grabbing a table near the front, ordering a big latte, and watching the world go by on the sidewalk during my breaks. It’s a fantastic place to meet other solo travelers too.

In this neighborhood, Café mate/n is a absolute standout for nomads. It is tranquil, modern, and has a shaded outdoor patio that is perfect for working. The coffee is exceptional, they really know their beans! The staff are incredibly friendly and speak both Spanish and English, which makes it very easy for newcomers to feel at home. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it if you need a quiet morning to get through your to-do list.
