It is AMAZING. The water is usually calmer there. It is the perfect spot to lay out a towel and just relax. No loud music. No one trying to sell you silver jewelry every five minutes. Just you and the ocean.

One of the best things about staying in Amapas is the food access. You have high-end dining like Vista Grill or Bistro Teresa nearby. These places have views that will blow your mind.
But my favorite thing to do is walk down into the flat part of the neighborhood. That is where you find the local treasures.
I love finding a tiny restaurant where the grandma is in the back making tortillas by hand. That is the real Puerto Vallarta experience. You won't find that in the big resort hotels.
